Doremy Vernon is an English actress and former Tiller Girl who was born in London, England. Vernon is best known for her portrayal of Diana Yardswick, the Canteen Manageress at Grace Brothers in the BBC sitcom Are You Being Served, written by Jeremy Lloyd and David Croft, from 1975 until 1984. Doremy also appeared in many other well-known British TV programmes, such as Dixon of Dock Green, Hi-De-Hi!, Citizen Smith and One Foot in the Grave. She also had roles in films directed by Ken Loach, (Family Life) Ken Russell (The Devils), Alan Parker (Our Cissy), Stephen Frears (Bicycle Thieves), John McKenzie (Made) and Brian Gibson (Joey).

In 2014, she made history twice, first by defeating Matt Cage to become the first ever female AAW Heritage Champion at "AAW All Hail" on August 15th. In the Pre-Show-A-Go-Go for "CHIKARA Tomorrow Never Dies" on December 6th, she defeated Missile Assault Ant (R.B. Banks) in the finals of the Young Lions Cup Tournament to become the first ever female CHIKARA Young Lions Cup Champion. She has also been a 1x OVW (Ohio Valley Wrestling) Women's Champion and a 1x AIW (Absolute Intense Wrestling in Ohio) Women's Champion.
