Over the past 15 years he has produced and directed over 30 hours of television and his work has sold to over 20 countries. He also has an International Gold Promax for his network promo series for Showtime Australia. In 2017 Craig's horror film Red Christmas (starring horror icon Dee Wallace), sold to Netflix US following it's theatrical run. It has also sold to UK, Canada, Germany, Australia, NZ, Korea, Turkey and Latin America following a very successful festival circuit, where it received praise from LA Times, Variety, Scream Magazine, Fangoria and Bloody Disgusting. Craig Arnold was born on May 28th, 1990 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, to Hugh, a professor/consultant and Clara, VP of Human Resources at TVO. He is the youngest of three children and his family is of Hungarian descent. Craig became involved in the arts as a teenager, playing guitar in bands in Toronto with an emphasis on blues, RnB and soul music. He also played competitive hockey throughout his childhood and teenage years. He attended Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute in Toronto and later graduated from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia with a degree in Political Science. It was in Halifax that he landed his first television role on Haven (2010) and his first film role in Blackbird (2012) His breakout role came in 2012 when he joined the cast of the Emmy nominated teen drama series, Degrassi: The Next Generation (2001) as Luke Baker, the troubled Christian hockey star from Florida. He followed up with other notable roles, including a recurring role on the longest running Canadian drama series of all time, Heartland (2007) and his first leading role in a feature film, Wet Bum (2014), which premiered at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival. Craig currently divides his time between Toronto and Los Angeles.
Craig Azoff utilizes his background in theater, psychology, criminal justice, public administration, health care, and information systems to effectively motivate staff to complete complex health information technology projects. Craig is the Vice President of Health Plan Information Systems for Elderplan, Inc., a Medicare and Medicaid managed care organization. He has served in this capacity since October of 2015. Prior to this role, Craig was the Assistant Vice President of Application Support for Elderplan, as well as the Director of Administrative Information Services at MJHS, the parent company of Elderplan. He has been with MJHS / Elderplan for 14 years. Craig began his health care career 20+ years ago as an Intake Specialist for Psychological Managed Care Consultants, the behavior health division of Cigna. Since then, his career path has taken him to the acute care side of health care, where he has served as the Managed Care Coordinator for the Psychiatry Department at Brookdale Hospital before moving over to the world of I.T. as one of Brookdale's I.T. Project Managers. Craig holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University at Albany, as well as a Master's Degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College and a Master's in Public Administration from Long Island University. Besides health care, Craig is the Vice President of a small company he started with a friend called Journey Into The Heart, where he co-leads weekend retreats for fathers and daughters working on building stronger relationships. He also is a Leader-In-Training in an organization called The ManKind Project, a personal development organization that offers life-changing experiential training and support groups for all kinds of men.
