Austin Miguel Hook was born on August 31, 1994 in Columbia, South Carolina, to Henry Lee Hook, a U.S. Army Master Sergeant, and Stephany Dawson Reese, a Senior Training Specialist for a government insurance company. Ever since he was young, Austin has always had an interest in acting. Frequently relocating as a military brat, he learned to slowly adapt to his surroundings which was the major contributing factor in how his craft of acting began. Throughout Middle School and High School, aside being an athlete, Austin was involved in various school stage play productions. However, it was not until one day during his junior year at Coastal Carolina University (in which he had finally took bold action by dropping out) that it was time to call Hollywood his new home. His first opportunity in film came when he landed the role of Terrance in the faith based film, Shake Off The World
